4 Spring Break Looks That Can Work For Any Destination

I realize that many Stylebook readers might actually be reading this post from their Spring Break destination. As for myself, I’m headed to Florida for a long Easter weekend, which is somewhat of a tradition for me.

Once again, in our effort to help folks get dressed for all occasions, we thought we would put together some looks for any upcoming trip. I don’t know if you’re like me, but I can’t bring myself to wear workout clothes on the plane. My Southern grandma always made us dress up when we traveled! The Xirena set below is the perfect solution for when you want to look put together, but also stay comfortable.

Xirena is the perfect warm weather clothing line as it’s not too dressy, but polished which is why it can serve as a beach look, too. Their summer dresses are now a staple at The Hive. I also love the Citizen’s cream pants we received. If you don’t wear shorts or want something besides white denim – these will do the trick. Then of course, you will need a new outfit for dinner on your trip. I love the dress below from Apiece Apart. It’s easy to wear day or night. Just change the accessories and you can make it work in so many different ways.

Owner | The Hive, The Shoe Hive, and Yellow Jacket

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
