Feast Your Eyes On These Alexis Bittar Clutches

We all know and love Alexis Bittar jewelry. His pieces are unique and his use of textured metals and lucite let everyone know that it’s his design. Lately I feel like all of the celebrities I see are wearing his pieces.

Of course, I love our most recent delivery of jewelry, but this spring I happen to be the most excited about purses! I have often stated that I only personally carry two types of bags: either a large tote that can fit my laptop, or a clutch. I am kind of an all-or-nothing person, but I will be adding lots of Alexis Bittar to my clutch collection this spring.

The purses are basically jewelry, mixing leather with gold in the most perfect way. These are purses that you never throw out. You keep them forever and pass them down. I have a section of my purse “collection” that were my great aunt's and grandmother's clutches, and I still use them.

The purses in Bermuda blue are my favorite, but it’s hard to go wrong with the black or tan options. Stop in The Shoe Hive to check out our latest arrivals.

Owner | The Hive, The Shoe Hive, and Yellow Jacket

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
